This is the quilt we worked on today for the Quilting in the Pines Guild to be donated to charity. We did individual blocks all in a row instead of a standard panto. That way each design would fit “just right” into the quilt square.
Then we designed a small flower and placed it where the squares met , so that everything would be quilted. We used a lavender thread on front and back as there is lavender in the printed fabric. It always feels good to give back and donate time to projects like these. This quilt will be given to a hospital social worker to be gifted as she sees fit. This quilt top was made by members of the QUIP guild and Sweet on Stitches provided the Long Arm Quilting work.
